Don’t worry, being curious is not mean at all. No, SMA affects all my muscles. I’m still able to type and talk and laugh because I use my arms and mouth more than my legs, so those muscles have deteriorated at a slower pace than my legs.


However, fun fact, when my legs are hanging freely (like off the edge of a table, or in a pool) I can move them. They can’t support weight but they’re not completely lifeless. Sometimes people also assume I have no feeling in my legs, but I do. SMA doesn’t affect my sense of feeling at all.
